What does it cost to go?

Thanks to our sponsors and volunteers, the events indoors and outdoors are all free.

Only food costs money. The cost at the canteen is $1 per item.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Weather is never a problem!

There are many activities indoors and outside. So bundle up and enjoy the outdoor activities. When you need to warm up, come inside and enjoy the shows, face painting, games, etc.

Best Place to watch the fireworks?

Standing near the rink is ideal because not only is the view of the fireworks great, but you’ll also be able to hear the music that accompanies them.

Where do I park?

There is limited parking at Ben Franklin Place. More parking is available beside Mary Pitt Centre (by the Baseline Bus station).

How do I pay for the canteen?

All items at the canteen cost $1. There is one canteen in the Theatre lobby and another near the skating rink (but inside). Tickets for the canteens are sold at tables near the canteens. Only cash is accepted.

what can I buy at the canteen?

Both canteens sell hot chocolate, tea, coffee, water, pop, chips, apples and candy. The canteen by the rink also sells hot dogs.

How can I join in the talent show?

Go to the volunteer page and submit your name. Someone will contact you.

What time does the event start?

The event starts at 6:00 pm on Monday, December 31, 2018.

What time are the fireworks?

The fireworks are at 10:00 pm.

Do I have to wear a costume?

No, but feel free to come dressed as a clown or a circus performer. You can participate in the Costume Contest in The Studio at 8:30 pm. Maybe you’ll win a prize.

Are there lots of speeches?

No. This is a time for family fun.
