Thanks to our sponsors and volunteers, the events indoors and outdoors are all free.
Only food costs money. The cost at the canteen is $1 per item.
Weather is never a problem!
There are many activities indoors and outside. So bundle up and enjoy the outdoor activities. When you need to warm up, come inside and enjoy the shows, face painting, games, etc.
Standing near the rink is ideal because not only is the view of the fireworks great, but you’ll also be able to hear the music that accompanies them.
There is limited parking at Ben Franklin Place. More parking is available beside Mary Pitt Centre (by the Baseline Bus station).
All items at the canteen cost $1. There is one canteen in the Theatre lobby and another near the skating rink (but inside). Tickets for the canteens are sold at tables near the canteens. Only cash is accepted.
Both canteens sell hot chocolate, tea, coffee, water, pop, chips, apples and candy. The canteen by the rink also sells hot dogs.
Go to the volunteer page and submit your name. Someone will contact you.
The event starts at 6:00 pm on Monday, December 31, 2018.
The fireworks are at 10:00 pm.
No, but feel free to come dressed as a clown or a circus performer. You can participate in the Costume Contest in The Studio at 8:30 pm. Maybe you’ll win a prize.
