Radio Station Focuses on Fireworks & Alcohol-free Family New Years Eve
Fireworks and our Alcohol-free Family New Year’s Eve event were the topic as I was the guest on BOOM 99.7’s morning program with Brent Corbeil and Michelle Cruise. This year’s 20th Anniversary edition of the world’s most successful and fun anti-impaired driving project will feature the best fireworks ever, sleigh rides, an incredible talent show, magic, jugglers, a harp concert, dance showcase, Ikea furniture assembly contest and games for the kids including face painting and a Bouncy Castle.
Mr. Corbeil and Ms. Cruise beamed that our event has become a
tradition for families and seniors across Nepean and the entire Centre and West end of the city. It all happens indoors and outdoors at Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive from 6-10p.m.. And it’s all free
...I was clearly the “second” guest on the program as I had to follow an exciting hour long appearance by Santa Claus. He too recommended our event to parents and people of all ages - as he did in past years when CTV viewers followed suit by voting it the Best Place To Be On New Year’s Eve.
And a special surprise for people enjoying this year’s event: Brent Corbeil has volunteered to serve as the celebrity MC for the evening leading us into the countdown to the best-ever fireworks show at 10:00 p.m.
